On December 17 Varuzhan Nersesyan, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Unites States of America, met with Senator Todd Young (R - Indiana).
Ambassador Nersesyan welcomed the adoption of the Armenian Genocide Resolution by the Senate and noted that it was a clear message aimed at restoring historical justice and preventing crimes against humanity.
During the meeting, Ambassador Nersesyan presented the ongoing democratic reforms implemented by the Armenian Government in the spheres of strengthening the democratic institutions and improving the judiciary system.
Ambassador touched upon the agenda of Armenia-US cooperation, briefed the essence of Nagorno Karabakh conflict and the negotiation process aimed at peaceful settlement.
